OK for those of us that had to miss out. How was it. Give us the skinny.

Other than meeting forum members, what did you get out of the weekend? Please share your experiences.

What kind of response was received from the public to the forum booth?

What was the highlight of the weekend, again other than metting forum members?

For those that attended the actual meeting portions, what can you tell about those proceedings?

Pictures would be nice.

Walking around with my nametag and Exhibitor badge I got asked alot about "what is it?"

I felt like I shared more while meandering around then actually sitting at the table.

Next year we need a laptop with the forum up live, and maybe some images from a forum day as well as a raffle?

I spent a lot of Saturday hanging out with my Dad...

I think I finally impressed him with my knowledge (I guess I fooled him  ), and the friends I hang out with these days...

He got to sit next to a former President of the TSRA at the awards banquet that evening, and had a great time swapping stories about some of the matches and events he used to go to while he was active in the cause...

I think this re-invigorated him to get back into the fight...Time to put that "Patron" membership in the NRA to good use I suppose...

All in all it was really great to meet the folks I chat with on this forum...I look forward to the next time we can do this...

WARNING! BEFORE reading farther, please read the disclaimer at the end of the post.

It wasn't too bad!

Some nice folks handed me a piece of paper with a website address on it. Something about a Texas CHL Forum... ;)

And my wife decided she HAD to have a Ruger Bearcat. (Which is pretty great because now I'm off the hook for her birthday present!)
Do you know about the TEXAS State Rifle Association?
