Tom C
Danny_Hylton

There were at least 2 more that i can't remember(old timers is setting in)
As everyone on this forum is a friend, it was great to put some faces with names. I hope to meet some more of you tommorrow.
By the way, I have reserved the table again for next year. Start making plans to attend now.
I think all had a good time. I know I did. We joked, talked guns and some politics.
It was great to meet all of you. Thanks for comming.
Hey, Stevie_d, I did come home with that $400 piece of paper. As they had a show special, it only cost me $375 (now a life member). I was practicing my ducking and running when I came home.

I had to pleasure of meeting many of the gentlemen from our forum over the weekend; every one of these guys are a class act (which was no surprise to me or my wife)! Among the guys I got to spend a little bit of time with were:
Charles Cotton
Tracoun
RPBrown
TomC
EagleEye
Gigag
I am sure there were a couple of other people and I apologize for not listing your name...I will bang my forehead on the table when I see your post and remember your face. The table was a success in my opinion and I am willing to man it for a while next year! Thanks guys for a great weekend. BTW, I looked for you Stevie
and a few of the guys can vouch for that! Sorry I missed you, but we are neighbors.

I had a great time matching names with faces for sure.
I am anxious for another forum day!

Ray:
Thanks for putting this together. I wish I had more time to spend at the table, but at least I did get to meet some of the folks.
We need to get you more help manning the table next year. Since you've already reserved it, that shouldn't be a problem. Perhaps we can also reserve a table at the Friends of the NRA Dinner Friday evening. We have a year to decide!
Thanks again for all your efforts Ray!
Regards,
Chas.

It certainly was a pleasure to meet some of the extended crowd up in Big D...
I know my Dad was surprised to find out what all the hub bub was about finally...And he said he had a great time at the event...I think I even might have impressed him with how on top of certain issues I have been recently, that he wasn't privy too...
He got to sit next to Chuck Wheeler (former President of the TSRA) at the Saturday evening awards dinner...That was a real treat for him, for they went back over some good memories of some tournaments they both attended, and shot at, way back in the 80's...
I enjoyed meeting all of you, and look forward to those future events we can all get together at, very soon...

I was thinking...Yeah I know...Don't hurt myself...
I was, if I had the time, was going to the mall down in Texas City and have the guy who makes custom baseball caps for all the gang-bangers make me a "texasCHLforum.com" cap...
You buy the plain base model in the color and style of your choice, and on the computer create a logo or design that he basically transfers extremely accurately to the cap on his machine right in the store...
It took me about 30 minutes to get one made for a cook-off team I was on for about $25...
I think its a good deal...
For this one, I was going to put the website on the front in a simple font style...And arch my internet handle over the band on the back of the cap...
I was also thinking of having the American flag on one side, and the Texas flag on the other...
The base color of the cap would be could be a dark Navy blue or black...
Any thoughts or suggestions???
