Thanks for al the help, everyone! A trade has been made. I went with the Glock 19. Hopefully everyone is satisfied. I certainly am.

The G19 is a great pistol. You can use G17 mags in it too, they'll just stick out a bit.
Oh and don't forget the 33 round G18 mags will work as well. Of course they stick out a LOT.

Yeah those 33 rounders are a real pain for concealment. I'm large, but not THAT large.

Yeah, Yeah. You'll join the ranks of the JMB faithful soon enough. The Glock is a useful, practical tool. The 1911 is still tops.

I am very satisfied with the Kimber! It felt great on the way home...now for some night sights....TSRA show here I come!

This has been my second trade on the forum...I love it. And in DWS' defense, he was carrying at 1911 (among other things) when I showed up to make the trade.

Good to see you are happy on the G19! I've beeen wanted to get one of those forever. I almost did 3 weeks ago, but the calls to Topglock keeps getting cut off. lol. And now I have a new love for another 1911. A Nighthawk GRP Recon. I'll be saving up my pennies for a while to get that. Hopefully by Christmas of this year if not earlier. Then a Glock 19 with night sights afterwards.
