#1

Post by Rex B »

Dicks has a coupon in their circular - All ammo, buy one, get one free. Limit 6 boxes total.
CTD Has S&Ws on sale, full-page ad in the ST. 642s are $399, 22A-1 is $179.99. This should run through next Wednesday.

Any other good deals worthy of note?

The coupon is actually buy one, get the 2nd half price.
Circulars are available in the store.

I bought .380 for $16.99
Their bulk reloads were $49.95 for 200
Even with the coupon it was only a fair deal.

I went to WallyWorld today to maybe pick up a couple of boxes of 45ACP CCI Blazer if they had it for the IDPA match Sunday at Texas Tactical.

They didn't have Blazer. But they did have boxes of 250 Remington UMC 45ACP ball ammo for $65. With tax that works out to just over $14 per box of 50.

Seemed pretty cheap to me so I grabbed a box.

That still isn't a bad deal. I experienced sticker shock yesterday at Wal-Mart while buying my step-dad some .270 ammo. I paid $31 for 10 .270 130 gr. premiums. That's more than $3 per round. He better have good aim.

The NRA & TSRA are a bargain; they're much cheaper than the cold, dead hands experience.

I suppose a good hunter can back a 20-rnd box last about 5 years ;)
