Look what followed me home...

I went to the local gunshop for National Ammo day, and wound up with more than ammo....

It's a DPMS Panther AP-4 in 5.56. Nothing fancy, but she's a shooter, sent about six hundred rounds downrange today. Runs like a top and eats cheap Remington rounds like candy.

Make sense to me.

It would be pointless to have 600 rounds (or more) of 5.56, and have nothing to shoot it with. ;-)

Well, I bought the ammo at the same time, local shop had a pretty good deal on some bulk stuff.

I know, but its always a good excuse to buy another weapon. ;-)

I have the same rifle. Just wish I had more time to shoot it.

Ain't that a shame on the price? Cabela's was advertising some bulk reman .223 for around $75/250 rounds, seems to be a good deal if they actually have it in stock. We're gonna be over in Fort Worth for Christmas, planning to go visit their new store there and see. Review said it's once-fired Lake City brass, remanufactured by Remington.

I'm trying to get one to follow me home, but it hasn't happened yet.

Hey packina40, if your going to Cabelas anyway, check on the ammo, but I would not make a trip there just to buy .223 or .40 S&W remanufactured ammo in those Dry Box deals.

I live in Ft Worth and make it there about once a month (looking for strays) and I always check the rack of remanufactured ammo. I have NEVER found either .223 or .40 in sock
