Anyone got a Ruger Max-9? Thoughts and opinions?

A pistol without a round chambered is an expensive paper weight.

Ordered one so in a few days I guess I'll at least have handled one and have an opinion.

I like mine very much. Good sights. Nice trigger. Very easy to shoot. Fits in the front pocket of my cargo shorts, but I usually carry it owb under a t shirt. I like the option for an optic, but I’ve been shooting pistols for so long without one, I’m hesitant to fix what aint broke. The Max 9 could easily be an “only gun” for me. Carry gun. Nightstand gun. Range gun. It fills those roles very well.

Picked it up this evening. It's a little smaller than I expected. Getting the last round in the magazine is slightly challenging whether the 10 or 12 round. I think it's about the perfect size for convenient yet capable daily carry.
