Which Glock to buy?

I’m just gonna say it......none of them!
I love Glock (own 4 of them)....but Sig is way better.
If you think the Sig costs more, you are right.
You will find out after your new sights and the trigger
modes you’ll need on your Glock, you’d have had
that right out of the box with a Sig. just my 2 cents.

I got to shoot a Sig P226 many years ago. It had the SRT and was excellent. However, Sigs are WAY out of my price range, those things are a grand or more, last time I looked. I have plans to change the sights, yes. (However, not the trigger, it works good enough for me.) The sights I'm looking at for my G17 are steel, and cost under $100. The plastic sights on the Glock work fine, but I want night sights.

I want a full-size frame, so I don't want a Glock 19.

I think this is a trick question. You've answered your own question in the OP.

The G45 has a full-size grip frame, the slide, barrel, and front of the frame are compact sized. Think of it as a "commander style" version of the 17. Maybe someday I'll trade the 17 I got in on a G45, but who knows how long that might be with the current mess going on.

Understood...the P226 is not an apples to apples comparison...I do love mine. Glock 17 $500-550 ?? Sig P320 $550-599 ?? (then add in your $100 sights). If you shop you can find a good price point. The Sig is just a better gun right out of the box.

Isn't that the same Sig model that got recalled, though?

One thing I don't personally like about the full-size Sig models is that the grip-design positions the hand pretty far below the line of the bore; I can't get high up on it like I can with most other pistols to get better leverage against muzzle-flip.

Normally, I’d agree with that. But my experience of handling (not shooting) a friend's P365XL lent a different impression than that. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
