I bought an odd rifle and the firing pin broke. This rifle isn't covered by warranty. I emailed the company and the guy said he would get back with me the next day and express mail me one. I said no problem. I emailed them back saying I would pay for one but its out of stock in their store. I emailed them 5 days ago the second time. The original email was over 10 days ago. They never got my info.
I feel like they're dropping the ball here. All I want to do is buy a firing pin so my rifle will work. So what are my options here? I don't want to name drop because maybe they're extremely busy or something. Its a small company. Its just odd they responded right away and now they've ignored me.

Re: Firing pin broken
I think Brownell's and Numrich have the largest variety of parts for firearms.
I have had good experiences ordering from Brownell's but never used Numrich. I think Numrich buys a lot of older gun parts and going out of business inventories, so they might be better if it is an unusual gun while Brownell's might be better if it is a more common firearm.

Check with your local gun smiths, one with a lathe might be willing to make you one.
How do you explain a dog named Sauer without first telling the story of a Puppy named Sig?

G.A.'s recommendation may be your best bet. You didn't mention the manufacturer, but there may be a forum for your rifle manufacturer. I join forums for all my gun makes and get lots of help on them. Even bought and sold some parts, even gave some away and received some free gratis.G.A. Heath wrote:Check with your local gun smiths, one with a lathe might be willing to make you one.
