I have a problem!

So I picked up a Kahr PM9 as many of you know I made a couple posts about her last week. But I ran into a problem. I shot it a bit and fell in love with that smooth double action trigger pull and just the quality of the gun. Now, that's not bad but... I picked up my Glocks and when I pulled the trigger on them I thought to myself what in the world did I just pull???? I have never thought that. I always liked the Glock trigger. But that Kahr turned me into a trigger snob! What has this world come to!

Honestly I don't like the triggers of any striker fired gun.
But The G19, G17, and Shield are the only guns in my collection, that haven't had any issues at the range. I have had a cz p07 failure to eject, and Springfield 1911 failure to eject repeatedly, and a sig 938 failure to feed.

So I only carry the g19 or shield regardless of the trigger

I, myself, have become quite the trigger snob as of late. I picked up this interchangeable trigger system for my EDC. I can switch between curved and flat, in 3 different sizes of each. And switching these bases takes all of about 5 minutes. The only disassembly that's required is removing the magazine catch.

Gotta admit that I'm a fan of the Kahr triggers myself. I used to think of Kahr's as "cheap little guns", until I shot one. Now my wife carries one every day, and there is probably room in the house for another one.

HUGE fan of my Glock 27. I even deer and hog hunt with mine! (Yes, quite effectively, too). But I will say that the Kahr trigger is fantastic. Shoots well no doubt about that.

I currently own two 1911s, and have owned others. Yes, they have nice crisp triggers. I have owned three Kahrs, including a PM9, a CW9, and a CW45. Yes, they have nice smooth triggers. I currently own and carry Glocks. I sold all the Kahrs, and like I said, still own two 1911s. Yeah, the Glock stock triggers are neither as crisp as the 1911's, nor as smooth as the Kahr's........neither of which keep me from shooting the Glock's just fine — in fact, pretty much about as well as I shot 1911s or Kahrs. I wouldn't feel a pea under my mattress either, ladies. My Glocks are not target guns, they are fighting handguns, capable of acceptable combat accuracy if I do my part. I have no particular difficulty doing my part.....within the limits of my visual acuity. Certainly, it is OK to love and carry 1911s. Certainly it is OK to love and carry Kahrs. And I am not trying to promote Glocks over the other two platforms. But good shooting comes from repetition and practice with whatever platform you're carrying, and choosing a given platform over the others isn't in and of itself going to make you a better shooter. Practice and repetition does that.

I have seen people with the most expensive guns, with tons of customization, designed to make the trigger/action/recoil/reliability, top notch, not be able to hit the broad side of a barn, and still blame the gun. I have seen some of the cheapest, poorly made guns with terrible triggers, finishes, and sights, shoot single holes in paper, because the operators practiced enough to know all of the issues, and worked to overcome them.

Apparently you have never shot a Lorcin .380. Worst shooting gun I have ever owned. Not to brag, but I'm a pretty good shot and I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn standing three feet in front of it with hundreds of rounds through it.
