Anyone have a owners manual for a Herbert Schmidt / Hawes model 21/21S single action .22 revolver? Picked one up over the weekend, but no manual and would like to have one.
Would gladly pay for copying/mail or maybe you could scan it into a .pdf?
Thanks!

Re: Herbert Schmidt/Hawes Model 21 Manual?
I just got home from buying that single action Heritage Arms Rough Rider revolver in .22LR/.22 Magnum from the same guy. He and I exchanged email addresses, and he offered to come down in price from $150 to $100 if I wanted to buy it. It is NIB never been fired, and online prices for it seem to be in the $210 range. I figured for $100, that was a darn good deal, and I went ahead and snapped it up. The seller sure is a nice guy. We did the deal FTF at Big Slim's Firearms in Carrollton.Keith B wrote:Anyone have a owners manual for a Herbert Schmidt / Hawes model 21/21S single action .22 revolver? Revive an old thread. Anyone know where I can find parts for this gun? Specifically the rear site.

NUMRICH says they're sold out, but it couldn't hurt to contact them.
If you measure the dovetail, you might be able to find a generic sight that would fit.
I have a similar model - Buffalo Scout, IIRC - without the dovetail rear sight. It shoots fairly well. Dad tuned the trigger decades ago when it was new, and it's still nice and crisp.

The sooner I get behind, the more time I have to catch up.
