Sig P938 off for warranty repair
Been having an issue with my P938. Occasionally when shooting, the magazine will drop causing a FTF. I re-seat the magazine and rack the slide and I'm good to go again. This happened 4 times on saturday out of 100 rounds. When it first happened, I thought it might have been me. But when I let a friend try shooting it, it happened to them as well.
So I called Sig's customer service. The guy was very friendly and said that he did not think it was the magazine itself that was the issue. He said it sounds like they're going to need to look at the gun themselves. They emailed me a Fed-Ex label with instructions stating not to include the magazine unless requested by customer service. Since the guy on the phone did not specifically ask for it, I did not include it. I put the unloaded gun in the Sig plastic case it came in. I figured the shell and foam would protect it better than just about anything I could create. Then I had to find a box to put it in. Fortunately, I've been placing alot of orders on amazon prime and one of the cardboard boxes was an almost perfect fit for the Sig case.
I had a friend print the label for me since I don't have a functioning printer at home right now. Taped the box up, and took it to FedEx. I handed them the printed shipping label and the box. They scanned it and handed me a receipt.
Now I wait. Almost feels like sending a child off for summer camp. The difference is, gives me a good excuse for BUG hunting!

I had a problem with my new Sig P938 (see my thread at: viewtopic.php?f=23&t=83304). One of the things Sig did was to "upgrade the magazine latch". I think Sig will take care of you.

They certainly seemed very friendly and willing to help make it right. From the moment I hit dial on my phone until I terminated the call, it was just over 7 minutes. Very fast! In the mean time, I'm shopping for a BUG. (not that I really needed the excuse)

Best of luck! I'll be anxious to hear how your experience goes. From what i've gathered from other similar posts, i'm betting everything will be alright

Sig will sort out your problem and get the pistol back in your hands in about two weeks.

Sig is very accustomed to repairing the 938. I've had to send mine back twice but since the last time it's round flawless. One of the big issues is they have improved the main spring housing which seem to have campuses a lot of the problems. Keep us posts in what they do, their cs has been very good, especially with the 938. Love this gun when it's working.

It's a spot on shooter and a blast to shoot when it works. It's just the occasional malfunction that was bothering me. I have the utmost confidence that they will fix it. Just having to wait now until my baby gets back from the shop.

While the P938 is off being worked on. I just ordered a new BUG.
I got the little brother of the 938, the 238. Should be a good gun for me to help teach friends/family to shoot on too.

Just got an email from Sig customer service. My baby is on it's way back. The FedEx tracking number says I should see it on Wednesday. I will be waiting with baited breath.

I had the same problem with a Keltec PF9. I sent a detailed email describing the problem and they sent me parts and detailed instructions. After that I carried it daily until I found an LC9 I liked better.

Also looks like the P938's little brother (P238) will arrive at my local FFL the same day. Feels like christmas to me! :)

Awesome! They also just got their 22lr conversion kits back in stock for the p938. Having one shipped and a few magazines on the way for that!
I'm glad I had the chance to shoot a sig because I don't know if I would've given them a chance otherwise. Solid company, friendly customer service and man do I love my carry piece.
Glad to see you're reunited with your baby and now you have a little brother for it! Most excellent!
