Question for Charles

I've noticed that when I send PM's, they sit in my outbox for up to several hours. Do you have any idea why they are not sent immediately?

I'm not Charles but that's the way it works. When you send one, it stays in your "Outbox" until it's picked up. Then it's moved to your "sent" folder...

Ah, that makes sense. I thought it worked like my email. Thanks for the clarification.

Wish I'd known you were in town, Chas. Did you fly, and if so, through Love Field?

Hi Jim:
I flew to Love Field on the 7:00 AM flight from Hobby and left on the 4:00 that was delayed until close to 5:00. I was supposed to come in on Thursday eveing and see someone in the Fort Worth area, but the plans changed.
Regards,
Chas.

Would an informal "reception" for Charles, ie. reason to have an adult beverage and perhaps burn some beef, be out of the question on Charles' next DFW visit?

I too would like to shake his hand. Charles, let us know when you will be in town next.
Would have liked to meet you this weekend while I was in your neck of the woods but time is short and daughters graduation comes first.

I won't be back in the Dallas area on business for a while, but I let you folks know. Maybe we can get together for lunch, if it fits everyone's schedules. Thanks to txinvestigator's very generous offer of a classroom, I'm hoping to find a time slot to come up and do a class.
Yeah, I wish we could have had a burger, or better yet put some rounds down range, while you were here. But you're right, family does come first! I hope you and the family had a great time.
Thanks again to all for the kind words and for being a part of TexasCHLforum.
Regards,
Chas.

Can I make a suggestion as to posts.....have the default go to "Newest First" > to "Oldest" .....in that fashion without having to change the default at the bottom....
It just makes for faster reading for those having been on earlier or day before.....

That's not an option on the Administrative Control Panel. Each user can set the order of presentation, but I don't know if it will stay as set between the different forums, or if it goes back to "oldest first" when you change forums.
