I thought that might get your attention.

I received a PM from a member asking about something that came up in a thread and he wondered why I hadn't responded. I don't want anyone to think I'm ignoring them, so I want to let people know that I'm not reading every post during the 2007 Texas Legislative Session. Between the law practice and spending a lot of time on legislation, I just don't have time to read everything. I always appreciate our Moderators, but they are a real blessing during the "session." After the legislative session is over, things should get back to normal.

So, if you have a question specifically for me and I don't respond to a thread, please send me a PM with question or pointing me to the thread and I'll get back to you as quickly as possible.

Chas.

Perhaps we've been spoiled by your gracious presence here answering our questions and providing your insights. However, we all recognize how important your work is in the legislature (and that you need a day job to pay your bills), so take care of first things first and we'll see you when you get a chance to breathe.

I appreciate the great work that you guys do, and am attentive to 'action' type posts. Keep up the good work, and if there is something that needs doing in El Paso, please give me a ring.
