If you search the L-1 website for locations, you get three listed for Austin. One is on Cameron Road, and then it lists the same location on S Capital of Texas Highway in Westlake twice.
However, when you go to actually schedule your appointment, you are given a third option, on Denson Drive which is basically across the street from Highland Mall and a few blocks from DPS headquarters on North Lamar. Turns out this is actually a DPS building which I assume L-1 has contracted to use to provide its services. Normal operating hours and I was in and out in less than 15 minutes.
