REMINDER: Pseudo-profanity is strictly prohibited!

The moderators have been having to edit a number of posts lately to remove pseudo-profanity, typically something like substituting a dollar sign for an "s" or using an "*" to replace letters. I suspect this is probably coming from some of our new members who have not read the mission statement. If you haven’t read the mission statement, please go to http://www.texasshooting.com/TexasCHL_F ... highlight=.

This practice is absolutely prohibited! Every time we see one of these, it is added to the word censor list so that it is automatically replaced with something. Unfortunately, people seem to be getting more creative with the pseudo-profanity.

We are sure this was innocently done and does not represent an attempt to circumvent the 10 year old daughter rule, so hopefully this friendly reminder will solve the problem.

Thanks,
Chas.

Aww shuckins & Hecky-dern, people forget you don't have to use profanity to make a point!

Thanks for the filters, we all appreciate your efforts Charles!

Thank you Charles for keeping this a friendly place to discuss our fondness of firearms and the Texas CHL. I appreciate the 10 year old daughter rule and the civility that it demands.

It also makes it ok for some of us to browse this forum at work. Some company networks block out websites that exceed a given cuss work count.
