How about a sub forum to discuss get togethers. I follow some car forums with my Z and these guys are always getting together for a beer or burger or something.

I'm down :thumbs2:

There should be area monthly gatherings... at a restaurant or a range, or something, for lots of different areas, just to sit and chat, and discuss things.
We can also play the "Guess how many guns I'm carrying" Game! :headscratch

And no, I'm not volunteering to run any of them, I'm busy enough already! But I would attend!

I'd be happy to organize a meetup in San Antonio (late May would be the earliest I could do anything though...)

I chatted with Bonc_CHL about arranging an Austin area meetup at some point. Anyone else from Austin area interested?

We had a small discussion on another post to get together at Marksman range in South Houston on a Friday evening or weekend afternoon. Lets do it!

I'm game as well.
Also there should be enough PSC members to bring in plenty of guests as we all get to bring up to 2 of them at a time.

I'm sure we can all save some range fees if we go to PSC. I am a member and can bring 2 guests.
The issue here, is getting there and having open ranges. If we planned bright and early on a Saturday or Sunday morning (arrive about 7:30 or so - but can't shoot till 8 of course)
We just have to check the PSC schedule for other scheduled events that may take precedence on the various ranges. (http://www.psc-range.com/index.php?opti ... Itemid=107" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) Im not sure how well this will link up on here, but worse case http://www.psc-range.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and click on calendar
Personally, I have my membership as to not have to pay range fees, and if my membership can save someone else a few bucks here or there, I am all for it.

I go to the range to shoot. I think a coffee shop or bar or restaurant is a better place to have conversations and get to know people.

From all the post I've seen here on people waist sizes I would have to say a meet and eat would probably have the biggest turn out. We could make the reservations as a Hawaiian shirt distibutors luncheon, or some sort of parrothead fan club. :cheers2:
