Chat Room Topics

Now that the chat feature has been added, I think we should add a schedule. I can't recall who suggested it, but it's a good idea.

I need to know two things; 1) suggested topics; and 2) what day(s) and times would be better for the majority of our members?

We get a number of questions about reloading, so I think that would be a good topic. I have no idea how long we should schedule a "chat," so I guess we'll learn that over time. I suspect Friday evenings or the weekend would not be good times for most people. I can't do it on Wednesdays. What about Monday or Thursday evenings at 7:00pm?

I think I'll just post a poll to collect the information a bit easier. Since people may be able to meet on more than one day, I'll set the poll so you can give 3 answers. Once we select a day of the week, I'll ask about times.

I would like discussions on being pursuasive to those who don't see eye to eye with us.

I would like to have discussion on pending legislation that impacts guns and shooting on Federal issues, and especially Texas issues as we move into the 2009 session. :thumbs2:

+1 on the federal issues. Would like to see suggestions on being proactive and premptive on what we all see coming. Other topics might be "inspecting used firearms", shooting techniques, maybe have a topic expert answer questions. There are a lot of good, experienced folks on this board that would be a wealth of knowledge on various subjects.

That a very good topic to add to the schedule.

That's another good one to add, especially when the 2009 Texas Legislative Session begins.
