New information source for 2009 Texas Legislative Session

I am redesigning http://www.TexasShooting.com in preparation for the 2009 Texas Legislative Session. The format will be entirely new and will incorporate video reports. A number of other new features will be added to the site, including email newsletters and email notices related to pending legislation. All you will have to do to get the newsletters and notices is sign-up. Obviously, you can cancel any time.
Although legislative issues will be posted on TexasShooting.com, that will not be the primary focus for the site. The main reason for the new format is that it is better suited for the mission of TexasShooting.com; i.e. promotion of all aspects of shooting, whether for sporting or self-defense purposes.
I will continue to post the "Bill Status" reports for all gun-related bills in the Texas Legislature, as I have done since the beginning of TexasCHLforum.com. That section becomes active when pre-filing of bills begins.
I am also considering launching a temporary website http://www.TexasElectionWatch.com, if I can get some help watching various campaigns and races throughout the state. This website will be shutdown after the elections. If you are interested in taking some races and writing for TexasElectionWatch, please let me know. I have far too much going now to be able to do this alone, so that's why TexasElectionWatch is tentative at this point.
