NRA Join Graphic Missing
Am I the only one getting a placeholder for the NRA Join Graphic link in the left column of the forum? The link to the graphic is
http://www.texasshooting.com/TexasCHL_F ... e%2011.GIF
and there is apparently nothing there.

The correct URL is .
Are you using AOL or some kind of Internet accelerator?
In any case, try clearing your browser's cache, or just wait a few days.

Re: NRA Join Graphic Missing
Must be a Firefox thing. My *cough* IE7 shows the graphic, but in the top banner. Firefox shows the place holder in a left column. IE7 returns the correct URL, where Firefox seems to be converting the underscores to "%20", which I believe are spaces.
I'll try clearing the cache and looking at my Firefox settings.

I use Mozilla, which is close to Firefox. The %20 stands for a blank space. Underscores in URLs are no problem.

Re: NRA Join Graphic Missing
Are some of you seeing a column to the left of the forum pages? I removed that several weeks ago and the Join the NRA link should appear only in the header.

It had to be something residing in cache. The left column is no longer showing up.

Re: NRA Join Graphic Missing
I see no column on the left. Just the NRA (and new TexasCHLForum) stuff in the top header.

I see the column, and I know why now. The left column and graphic placeholder appears when I go to my bookmark:
http://www.texasshooting.com/TexasCHL_Forum/
When I access the site at http://www.texaschlforum.com, no column. Does this help?

That gives me a couple of possible explanations as to me why it happens. Charles, call me if you need help.DoubleActionCHL wrote:I see the column, and I know why now. The left column and graphic placeholder appears when I go to my bookmark:

Re: NRA Join Graphic Missing
Thanks, I may have to do that, but I think I know what's going on. I'll take care of the "old" index file and see if that does it.Kalrog wrote:That gives me a couple of possible explanations as to me why it happens. Another piece of info:
http://www.texasshooting.com/TexasCHL_Forum/ fails (has side bar)
http://www.texasshooting.com/TexasCHL_Forum/index.php passes (no side bar)
http://www.texaschlforum.com/ passes (it really is just a redirect to the second link behind the scenes)

Re: NRA Join Graphic Missing
The default home page that shows the column is index.htm. The correct one appears to be index.php.
I'm betting that just deleting the index.htm will solve the problem.
