Restrictions for new member's

I have been an active member on another forum that is firearm related for a while until yesterday I found this Texas specific CHL forum and I immediatelly joined as I'm a Houstonian and a TX CHL holder and NRA member. I was browsing through the topics and found many interesting and informative issues. As I was checking the sell/trade topics I found and already active member looking for something to buy and I posted a reply to his request.
Unfortunatelly my post has been removed as I'm a junior member.
My recommendations:
1. Junior members should be able to post replies to requests posted by a well established member as it will benefit both the senior and the new member. Number of posts may be limited to avoid soliciting. Starting new topics for selling/trading might be prohibited.
2. Maybe other forum's membership can be considered as a credit that the junior member will not use the forum solely for selling/trading.
Honestly, I don't want to post a bunch of stupid topics and replies just to establish my membership. Maybe new members should be treated equally and may be kicked out if they take advantage of the forum.
Not sure what others think!
