At 7:42 pm tonight (Dec. 22nd) the TexasCHLforum will be three years old!. I want to thank everyone form making the forum a great resource for information and stories. Like all families, we may have our disagreements from time to time, but they are very few in number and, in the grand scheme of things, they are minor.

As I posted on a few occasions, when I launched TexasCHLforum I thought we'd top at between 200 and 250 members. I missed that call by a factor of 10 and I couldn't be happier. In truth, the credit for this community atmosphere is due the members, not me. All I did was put the software in place and you folks created both a resource and a place where people can ask questions and discuss issues without fear of being ridiculed or insulted. Thanks for three great years!

I also want to express my heart-felt thanks to the current and past Moderators that volunteer their time and effort to keep us running. I have come to rely upon them more and more as time goes on, especially during legislative sessions and election years.

I wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and may the Lord bless you and yours!

Woo Hoo!!! Thanks for all your hard work on this site Charles and moderators. I don't post very often but I lerk here often. This is one of the best forums around and always my first stop when I am looking for Texas laws and local current events.

This is truly a wonderful group of people. I especially would like to thank all of the members here who offered up prayers for my wife last year at this time when she was critically ill. She lost her leg to diabetes on Christmas Eve day and things were very much touch and go for over a month.

Her health is somewhat more stable now and we take each day one at a time with God's help
