Bad Email Addresses & Spam Filters

#1

Post by Charles L. Cotton »

I have had more bounced email notifications in the last week than I usually get in a month. They are emails that were automatically sent to members to tell them of a PM or that a post has been made to a thread they were "watching."

I've also had 10 or 12 email notices related to new members who have just registered. These emails advise that the email automatically sent as part of the new registration confirmation procedure are not getting through because the member is using a web provider that allows incoming emails only from email addresses previously approved.

Please update your email addresses, if something has changed. For people just registering, if your email service requires prior approval of incoming emails, please authorize email from Charles@TexasShooting.com. This is the address on the automatic registration confirmation email generated by the TexasCHLforum software.

Thanks,
Chas.
