Any thoughts on an official (started by mod staff) facebook fan page for the forum?

Facebook privacy is a joke and employers do online searches. If you don't care, go ahead, but be aware of the situation.

I have a Facebook account, but I'm not yet ready to draw public attention to the fact that I have a CHL. Concealed means concealed, after all. Just my preference. I don't mind disclosing that to a group of like-minded folks, say at a seminar or training, but to put it out there on Facebook just doesn't sit right with me. Your mileage may vary.

Yeah, I like the peeps on this forum, but I don't want to "out" my CHL status on Facebook.

Same here, but I'm more worried about liberal relatives than co-workers. I do have one co-worker who said "I don't believe in guns." Another one replied, "It's too bad they believe in you." I think she (the non-believer) knows me well enough to not freak out if she found out that I'm getting my CHL. It's really just the liberal cousins I'm worried about.
I am not a lawyer, nor have I played one on TV, nor did I stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night, nor should anything I say be taken as legal advice. If it is important that any information be accurate, do not use me as the only source.

If someone would say that to me I am afraid I would laugh and say, "Sorry, even if you don't believe in them they are real".

That's why I have a unique username that I only use here. I never carry at work, but my full time employer is very anti-gun. But part of the reason for that is they are an airline, though I do not work at the airport. Like everyone says, concealed is concealed.

I have a FB account, and frankly think I will delete it, if that his possible. I thought that before, more especially after this:

Google your name and be agog at all that is out there. Because of my vocation I try to be oober careful with my FB account where I keep in touch with family mostly. But it is there forever folks, so be careful. Like any tool, use with caution and care. JMPHO

Do you mean they are against passengers carrying guns on airplanes? I don't think that is necessarily anti-gun. Or do you mean they are against citizens exercising their Constitutional RKBA when not on airplanes? That has nothing to do with airplanes.
