What is a "hot topic?" Could the scrolling icon mean that someone is currently reading or posting something to that thread?
I am not and have never been a LEO. My avatar is in honor of my friend, Dallas Police Sargent Michael Smith, who was murdered along with four other officers in Dallas on 7.7.2016.

i think i remember being on the site @ 3am before when there were no others on , and the scrolling things still scrolled .

BTW , Google (Bot) never replies back to me . :oops:

Correct. Because the program keeps track of the number of comments & views and posts it next to the thread title. It never stops and isn't dependent on how many people are on at any given time.
