The site is running slow again and one time I got the "too many connections" error message.

Same for me, and "slow" is an understatement now, as it is taking 30 seconds + to see "unread posts", as well as to get to the "first unread post" in a thread.Pawpaw wrote:The site is running slow again and one time I got the "too many connections" error message.

Yep, that's the error message. I've gotten it several more times since I first posted.MeMelYup wrote:Do you mean like this?Teamless wrote:Same for me, and "slow" is an understatement now, as it is taking 30 seconds + to see "unread posts", as well as to get to the "first unread post" in a thread.Pawpaw wrote:The site is running slow again and one time I got the "too many connections" error message.

Ever since the "migration" or whatever change took place, the site's performance has become much less consistent and stable. Not sure what improvements on the back end were gained but it seems to have diminished the user experience some.

Well, I'm glad it's not my computer/s or my SuddenDink provider.
Re: The Forum will be down for a software upgrade/migration
Same here, the main page takes about 20- 30 seconds to load and evry subsequent link/ transaction takes about the same 20 - 30 seconds.

Here I was thinking it was the proxy at work(which may still be a factor) in mine running slow and getting errors.

Is there a possibility of DNS attack from an anti-gun hacker? That would slow or shut down the site.
