Renewal question

I haven’t received any notification from DPS for my instructor renewal.
Do I need that invitation to go online and take the online course?
If not can someone give me the url please.
I’m hoping I can just take that course without the notice, shoot, fill out the forms and be done.

That's a bit confusing. Have you filled out the renewal forms, done the shoot, sent everything in? If not, time to get on that.
If you did complete renewal, call them up Monday morning. They'd have sent it to the email address you provided when completing renewal.

You should have received a letter from RSD laying out the steps.

Expand the bullet points under renewal.
You need to jump onto texas.gov and renew your instructor's certification. Fill out an LTC-90. Get a copy of your NRA/LE/Mil instructor certification. Go do the qual shoot (pistol/revolver) and have a fellow instructor sign off on LTC-100 for you with the renewal check box ticked. You're only doing the shoot portion. Upload all of that (LTC-90, NRA instructor certification, LTC-100) to RSD via the contact page.
Once they've processed your renewal application you'll get an email about completing the rest. There is no online training, just a short briefing PDF and a test you'll have to complete and send in.
