New LTC-100

Got an email from DPS this morning saying to start using new LTC-100's. Time to get new ones printed.

I received it as well. I just did a class of 17 last Sunday. When I saw the first date my heart skipped a beat.....

"As of July 24, 2017, the form, CHL-100, will now be LTC-100. Please begin using this new form immediately. After September 1, 2017, any CHL-100’s received by the department, dated after September 1, 2017 will not be accepted and that application will be rejected. This will then require your students to return to you for the new form. If you have any questions, please feel free to email them to RSD_LRS_CHL@dps.texas.gov.

We should be able to download the new LTC-100 now.

That's just for LTC classes taught after Sept 1st, correct?

I guess what I meant to ask was whether we had to re-distribute new LTC-100 docs to past students (those who have yet to apply for the LTC)... but guess I was reading too much into it.

They have also change the CHL-8 (now LTC-8). The email from DPS did not mention that nor say anything about using the new form after 9/1.

A close reading of their email shows we do not have to re-issue old CHL-100's. :)
