I am assuming that being an instructor you will have to be a notary to. Is this true? And can you do notary on your own classes?

There was another thread in the instructor section about being a notory. I'd try and find it for you but I'm posting from my phone. The consensus was most instructors hardly ever have to do the notorizing any more because almost everyone applies online and the affidavits are signed electronically.Mr.ViperBoa wrote:I am assuming that being an instructor you will have to be a notary to. Thanks for the link. I looked at a few but wasnt sure what the best route to go was.Crossfire wrote:You don't really need to be a notary, but it does come up from time to time. And, since it is so easy to do, and relatively cheap, I recommend it.
There are lots of different agents that you can go through to get your bond and complete your application. This is the one we used: http://www.texasnotary.com/Default.asp?ct=True" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
