Hello fellow instructors,

What do you guys and gals do when an individual has come to your class with the paperwork because they applied online with the TXDPS prior to May 1st.

Now that DPS has gone paper less. Its less of a headache to send folks to apply online but how do I react given they applied online previously. Do I advise them to apply online again (will they have to pay a 2nd time and be reimbursed)? Do you send in their paper applications?

What do you do in this situation?

Are they coming to class with a packet from DPS since they applied online or are they bring the check list with the barcode showing they have prepaid already?

They received the packet from DPS. It was from Nov of 2009.

As far as I know DPS will still take the packets.

Thank you...I'll call them because I want to see if they'll allow them to apply online and send in their receipt only so they do not have to pay again.

I had a renewal just before they quit sending out the packets.
She mailed it in & all is well.
