FYI, not sure how many others use them, but I just got in a new batch of TCHIA lesson plan workbooks - the 4'th edition I think it was - and the typos/deletions over in right hand margins were corrected. :)

Anyone else have a problem recently with rejection of passport photos? I've only had four come back in the last 8 years - 3 in the past 4 months over "background too dark".

After the first such rejection, I cleaned the lense and put up a more glossy white backdrop, then still got feedback from a student a couple of weeks ago they did not accept his!

Is DPS suddenly getting as picky over photos as the fibbies are over fingerprints?

If that's all the problem you've had with pictures, you must be doing something right. Generally it's the fingerprints that bounce. One woman got her's back and, since she was going to Austin anyway, just dropped by Lamarr St to have them taken there. The officer looked at them and said.
"There's nothing wrong with these prints. They just sent them back because they were behind and needed to buy some extra time." He signed off on them and they went through.
