If you have a website - how do you receive your deposits? Paypal or other providers?

I use paypal. Easiest and least expensive that I found.

I have a merchant account and accept most credit cards. I have found that deposits suck. I started with $25 then $50 , and I had about 30% not show and never reschedule. I switched to "Pay at Registration" and nobody baulks, and everybody shows. If they don't I have the money.

Heritage1, I noticed your website says you include digital prints. Are you doing that yourself? If so , what equipment?

We require full payment at registration. No $$$$ no spot in the class. We have had zero flakes thus far. A few folks rescheduled but thats all.

This is a good topic. I, for one, am new to instruction, and I don't know that I feel confident folks will pay up front vs. move on to the next. Forcing someone to pay up front puts a lot on say your website. If they don't like it, and have to pay up front, they might go elsewhere. Anyways, just bumping this up to the top for ya.

We don't take deposits. Students pay in full at the class. We do have a few no-shows, but we also have walk-ins that didn't register in advance, so it all evens out.
