Class Video
Do any of you use a video as part of your presentation?... I did a renewal class yesterday and one of the students told me that at his inital class the instructor had a good video on concealed carry he really enjoyed.. Not the clips..I have plenty of those..

Re: Class Video
No complete videos, only clips here. I think doing the complete video would be a violation of copyright laws being that your charging for the class that your showing them in.
Just remember shot placement is much more important with what you shoot than how big a bang you get with each trigger pull.

DPS was handing out the list as part of the "package" at school.texasjeep44 wrote:No complete videos, only clips here. I think doing the complete video would be a violation of copyright laws being that your charging for the class that your showing them in.
Somehow, I don't think they would encourage the practice, if it were illegal.

Re: Class Video
Yes, I use the NRA Personal Protection Videos. "PP Inside the Home" for a large class, "PP Outside the Home" for a smaller class.
Both are excellent, and approved by DPS. And better yet, gives me a chance to shut up for awhile and do the CHL-100's. Also, I show them during lunch so that we can use that as an hour of instruction.

Thanks crossfire... That's what I need... Using videos is not illegal... copying would be.. I use several training videos in my Captain classes and have been for 18 years..
