Re: Application Packets
In the forms business, yellow paper is sometimes referred to as "goldenrod".
That might help in your search.

Re: Application Packets
You probably wouldn't want to print reams of the applications, but if you only needed a few for a class, it could be done.Crossfire wrote:That would be some expensive printing there, SJF!
LT, the yellow shade you are looking for is "lemon". Office Depot probably carries goldenrod and canary in the store. Too dark and too light. You can probably order it from them, though.
Of course it would be cheaper if you could find the correct color paper to begin with.

Re: Application Packets
Well I finally heard back from the DPS on the applications. They didn't return my phone call from the message I left, so I sent an email to them regarding the delay in sending packets and posting the application on the web site.
Here is their response.
Something seems off here.

I have a serious question for these folks. If the management hasn't approved the revised form, what they heck are they waiting on from the publishers. Logic would dictate that the form would be approved and then sent to the publishers, not approved after they are all printed. Or is the downloadable form going to be different than the form that is sent in the packets. That doesn't seem like a good idea to me.Sorry for the delay regarding the student packets. The department awaits for the new updated forms that the packets contains to be received from our print shop. When those will arrive will be mailed out as soon as possible.
Regarding the downloadable forms, as previously said most of them are available and hopefully the application will be added very shortly on the website also. Right now the application form is revised and ready to be approved by our management.

Bureaucratic nonsense is pseudo-english.
Edit: Just because they are waiting for the forms to be received from the print shop, doesn't mean the form has been SENT to the print shop, approved, or even designed yet. But as soon as they get them from the printer, they'll be sent out.

Re: Application Packets
I got my packets in this week as well.
I am not using the applications that came in. I went to the store got some canary paper that matches the applications, and copied about 30 of them off for the class this weekend.
I have printed everything else up and got fingerprint cards when I ordered my fingerprinting supplies.
I am going to treat the original packets like gold.
If anyone really needs some applications I will work with you to get you some "copied" applications.
Good luck to the rest of you that are having troubles.

What Store did you find the paper?

Re: Application Packets
Staples had it. I am sure that Office Depot or any other similar store will have the same color paper.
