Well, the website charged me $100, too. Just last week. I don't understand why/how it would charge some $100, and others only $50. Doesn't make any sense -- oh, wait, I forgot, it's the Government...

When I got mine last year, I was only charged 50.00, and they sent me a letter saying I owed them 100.00. So I sent them another 100.00 to make sure everything was good. They sent my check back saying I only owed 50.00. So I sent them 50.00 along with a note, "Is that your "FINAL" answer?" Apparantly I did not win the pyramid. I never got a reply, but they did cash the check.

Checked the mail this morning. (drum roll please....) ta dah! A check for $50 from Tx Comptroller /DPS.
Might have been easier to just reverse charges to my CC.....but who cares, fifty bucks is fifty bucks.
