Does TXCHIA return any calls?

#1

Post by ChrisMcCollum »

I have been trying for 2 weeks to get someone at TXCHIA to call me back...not kidding...I've left a message every single day. Not one returned call!

I'm a member of this Instructors Association (which seems to be one and the same as TCHA), but I am seriously wondering what the dang point is in being a member of an organization that you can't even get in contact with?!

Is anyone else having trouble with this? Any advice?

Please, I understand that they "are a volunteer organization". I hear that on the message machine every day when I call, but we're going on 2 weeks now! Surely somone comes in more than once or twice a month....

Very frustrated,

Chris McCollum

They are all out back in the greenhouses developing the
new Chia Pets for Christmas, and filming the infomercials
for late night cable TV channels.

I didn't know that Chia's were the volunteering type.

OK guys, don't be silly with a new member. ;-)

Welcome to the forum Chris. I am not personally familiar with the TXCHIA organization, but hopefully one of the other instructors on the forum will come to your aid soon and may have some insight.

Glad to have you with us and please make yourself a regular here on the forum.

All the best,

Chris McCollum:

I stand chastised for being flip with you.

Welcome aboard the forum. Lots of good gun talk and information will be found
here.

Please add your city/town to your personal profile so that your
neighbors can recognize you.

What gun(s) do you own, and what is your carry piece?

Haha, No chastising necessary. I am really frustrated with them (TXCHIA) and can't understand the point of an organization that takes dues but doesn't do anything to help it's members.... oh well..... :headscratch

What guns do I have? Sheesh, I'm gonn have to respond when i have more time. I have a bunch for firearms instruction that are owned by my business and then some for personal use.

My personal favs: M1a, M1 Garand, Ar15 6.8 spc, Glock 19, XD .45, Sig 226 (my wife stole that one and now calls it "her" gun...go figure), Taurus 817 reolver, Remington 870 .20 ga. those are may favs.

I carry whatever fits best in the clothes I'm wearing. Usually ends up being the G19 or the revolover. I love them.

I hope someone from the TXCHIA calls me and/or reads this. Lemme know if y'all hear of anything.

Chris

None. Except that some people REALLY LIKE to join organizations. When that orgainization first started up, they had a really pretty membership card. I suspect if you just send them some money, they will be more than happy to accept it.
