Interesting Issue

I lost my LTC several years ago and had to get a replacement. Paid the required replacement fee an received the new LTC with a new license number that was also different from my Instructor certificate. No big deal I thought until I took the School Safety instructor course where I had to present my LTC as proof of identity and the number didn't match the Instructor number on their roster. They held me back a while until the lead DPS instructor said to go ahead and he would straighten it out later which they did.

The SSC instructor certificate will show the same instructor number on it as your original LTC instructor certificate. However, it will not match you LTC license if you have been issued a replacement.
