I am sure this has been asked before, but I was unable to find it here or within the statutes.
One of the most common questions I get is, "How much time do I have between taking the class and submitting my application?" Or vice-versa?
I have always told my students that they certainly have a few months, but is there any specific deadline that people should be aware of? I have heard 6 months and even a year, but would like to know for sure, and preferably know where to find the specific limit in the code.
Thanks,
Erick Drake

Re: Allowed Time Between Class and Application
CHL-100 is good for two years. Once the payment is made, that's good for one year.
Range Rule: "The front gate lock is not an acceptable target."
Never Forget.

Awesome. Thanks! Is that in the statutes somewhere? Or just a "current" rule with DPS? Do you know?

Never-mind. I found it in another post. It seems to be a DPS administrative rule.
