I was driving 40 mph in a 30 mph zone and was pulled over by Hillcrest Village Marshall for speeding. It used to be a 40 mph zone and was reduced for some reason or another, having driven it for over 11 years, I tend to go on autopilot through there.
Anyway, on to the stop. He followed traditional night traffic stop protocol. I handed over my CHL, DL and insurance. The officer asked where my gun was and I told him. He said nothing else, was very professional and polite. Gave me a written warning and I was on my way. As a general rule, the police there act by the old "serve and protect" motto and just want their citizens to be safe.

Sounds like a great stop. I have not been stopped yet, but if I am, I hope it is by someone like that.
