Most CHL/LEO contacts are positive, how about yours? Bloopers are fun, but no names please, if it will cause a LEO problems!

I was driving out to the range and was stopped by Katy's finest. I was listening to the radio, singing, checking mirrors, checking distances relative to other cars, and not using the cruise control.

The motorcycle policeman points at me and indicates pull it over. I give the thumbs up sign, signal and get to the shoulder nearest him. He shows me the radar and tells me I'm speeding. GUlp, ooops.... all on me watching everything but my speed. The officer was very polite & professional. He asks me a few questions and I pass him all the info. He goes back to his motorcycle and I see him on the radio. I'm sure I'll get a ticket, cause I've got that kinda luck. And he shows me some mercy, and gives me a warning. This is the only time I've ever gotten a warning. I thanked him and promised to use the cruise control, below the speed limit.

It was a very pleasent surprise.

Sometimes it is just a matter of being polite and showing a bit of contriteness. He will likely find someone going much faster with an attitude in a short period of time. Glad it turned out how it did.
