Just disgusting... I'm not a huge fan of any bumper stickers, much less one as abrasive as the one in the story, but the LEO's actions are ridiculous.
One of the comments at the bottom of the page was funny. This guy is an example of "a future member of the Obama Gestapo".
Also, as a side comment, I know an individual who got payed a visit by the secret service for a comment he made on a internet forum about the President, so I guess the lesson here is...be careful what you say, how you say it and what your audience is.

Maybe it's me. But most of the the time when I read or hear of intolorant gooberment officials they are Liberals. Aren't we told that it is the neocons and Bushies who are the intolorant ones?
I bet nothing happens to this cop. After all he is a liberal and a cop so he meant well. The
action of the secret service is even more reprehensible.
After talking to his attorney, Harrison went home where he met the Secret Service.
''When I was on my way there, the Secret Service called me and said they weren't going to ransack my house or anything ... they just wanted to (walk through the house) and make sure I wasn't a part of any hate groups."
They invade his home claiming they are looking for evidence of belonging to a hate group. I don't know what groups are illegal Apparently there is no warrent. I don't know exactly what a hate group is, but I thought we had a 1st amendment and belonging to groups such as the NRA, The Republican party, The Brady Bunch, or NOW was perfectly legal. I always thought it was legal to really dislike socialist leaders.
Its looking like we are heading an unpleasant future.

While I don't disagree with you, they were simply doing their duty (no that it's an acceptable excuse). I wonder if they really expected to find anything. I also wonder what would have happened if the guy had told them they couldn't search his place without a warrant.

Had they come to my house, we'd know the answer to that.

Our Bill of Rights are under constant attack. But what makes me even more sick is the large number of Americans that don't care, or don't know any better to care.

The current adminsitration is more of a threat to our Constitution and Bill of Rights than any in the las 100 years...

If you said that last year I would agree. It's too soon to tell with Obama but you're probably right.

Read: Cooperate or we will ransack your house.

That's what they think of free speech in the Obama nation.

None of these investigations found a threat to the President or Vice President, or any other illegal activity.
It took me about 15 minutes to find this information. Plenty more incidents are documented, going back to the 1990s.

We should get some that say "My child and my money went to Harvard Law School."
