I recently discovered these stories by Lawdog a short while ago. I apologize to those already familiar with him for this post, but I think they are definitely worth sharing.

Lawdog is an LEO from West Texas, around the Wichita Falls area.

Enjoy!

This was the first time I had read them - thanks for the link! I had to share on another forum as well.

Dittos on the great stories. My wife and I were laughing all the way through. We appreciate good writing, and LawDog is the Patrick McManus of law enforcement!

As for "west" Texas, I'm sure Amarillo (and even WF) wonder how Dallas qualifies as "North Texas". Draw a line from Amarillo to Abilene, then south to Laredo. Everything past that is most definitely west Texas.

Regional boundaries are funny things. Texarkana isn't East Texas, for instance.

I just came in from Wichita Falls, and I had to drive 240 miles from Amarillo to get there, most assuredly NOT west Texas.

BTW, West, Texas is a small town about half way between Hillsboro and Waco.
