Not a funny, but a belated thanks to LEO's.

I don't know why I didn't think to post this earlier. I just realized that some of you LEO's that are members here may have participated, so I wanted to offer a belated thanks. On September 8, 2007, 3 officers in our city where shot and killed. As you've figured out by now, my brother is a police officer, and I have multiple friends who are police officer's here as well. My brother has since moved to another town and is an officer there, but at the time, he was working here. All 3 officers were close friends of his.
We had an unbelievable out pouring of LEO support for our city. LEO's from all over the state and beyond came to pay their respects for a fallen brother. I went to the services to show my support for my family and friends and was brought to tears. Texas DPS, and LEO's from several surrounding communities covered all calls in the city during all 3 services so all OPD officers could attend. DPS also sent a color guard to honor the officers. Austin PD sent their drum and bagpipe corps, which was absolutely amazing. During Amazing Grace on the bagpipes, there was not a dry eye to be seen. DPS also did a fly over with 4 aircraft and did the missing man formation. There were other departments who sent color guards, and representatives as well, too numerous to name, but appreciated all the same.
I know how much it meant to my brother and my friends. So if any of you here came, or your departments sent officers, thank you. You helped our city and our police department through a tough time.
