fingerprinting experience

had to get the wife's fingerprints done, the local PD does them 7-9pm Thursday nights..
the LEO who took them was very polite, we joked a bit about the state/federal jobs etc... he saved the day with making sure everything was perfect on the fingerprint card, including adding a little square sticker to cover a bad fingerprint square that would have probably gotten them sent back...
he did both cards, joked around, got her an extra piece of paper that states the prints were done to the best possible outcome (this supposedly saves them getting sent back in 90% of the cases)... and in the end that 10$ fee was simply a "Merry Christmas" and a thank you for getting the CHL and being responsible etc...
a HUGE, ENORMOUS, GIGANTIC thanks to the Mesquite PD, and the officer who printed my wife...
