Did the OP ever mention the name and location of the BBQ place?

Sorry for being so silly guys, I realize now I should have never have even flinched at the business end of that pistol pointing
at my noggin. AND, I further apologize for wasting everyone's time posting about it.
Don't be sorry for posting. It is post just like this one that makes it great for guys like me. Someone who is not around people that I feel comfortable enough to discuss CHL stuff. There are those of us who learn a great deal or just get to think about scenarios that wouldn't normally come to mind when we read post like this. I personally would not have a problem with that situation but since you did, you made a call to move away from the problem. Thanks for bringing this discussion up. Not everyone is going to have the same opinion, some are close to the mark and some are far from it. But at the end of the day, I believe we all strive to become more knowledgeable, better trained and more responsible gun owners and CHL carriers.

Good BBQ always matters :).
I understand if you want to protect your secret dive BBQ joint, but when someone knows of a great BBQ place they should share their knowledge.
25,000 years ago, humans discovered fire. One minute later, they discovered BBQ .

In Houston I'd have to recommend Blake's on Jeanetta for BBQ.

The place is called Central Texas BBQ. It is on Airport Blvd across from Hobby aiport behind the Jack n the Box. Best bbq in town...

I'm now afraid the best kept BBQ secret in Houston will be out of the bag, they'll double their prices, and the lines will be too long to get in the door....
If you see a shortish stocky guy with a hard hat and kevlar vest ducking shoulder rigs in there, that'd be me......
Blake's is a VERY close 2nd......
