I was in working Tennessee in 71 and a local (one I didn't particularly like) made a comment that if it weren't for Tennessee, Texas wouldn't exist as a state. I allowed as to how that was probably true, but that they(The ones who went to Texas) were the only ones back then that had the sense to GET OUT of that GODFORSAKEN place. He near bouts had an apoplexy!
