I am glad he has his property back, but how do we get this moronic policy changed so that it doesn't happen to someone else?

The short answer is I don't know. I am not optimistic it will be voluntarily rescinded, so options are being weighed. I'm not trying to play it close-to-the-vest, I simply don't have an answer.

wouldn't 411.207 pretty much void their policy? i guess since DPS doesn't have any enforcement ability under the CHL provisions, they can't do anything, but surely this would be good fodder for a civil action. n'est pas?
