Wrong. My concern is what I see as the lack of caring by the PD. I'm sure money is their reason for not providing service.3dfxMM wrote:To be fair to the police on this one, the OP's concern was also about money. :)Oldgringo wrote:{***sigh***} Yepper, everything is about money.lws380 wrote:

You should not take the small quote from a larger paragraph (from another post) as my concern.

Re: Leo question regarding Ft Worth PD
Except when they write the ticket the money goes to the city to help pay them. Minor accident, they get nothing. That is why they are trying to wash their hands of as much of that as they can. But I think it is wrong.aardwolf wrote:If it's not worth the time for a police officer to write an accident report when it's a few thousand dollars of damage then the logical conclusion is it's really not worth the time for a police officer to write a ticket for speeding or anything else with a penalty less than a few thousand dollars.

No, you were concerned about determining liability and who was going to have to pay. Your small quote here just happened to tag along with OldGringo's.lws380 wrote:Wrong. I'm all for a lock, I think both sides have been presented. Please turn the key on this one.
