Thankfully, I'm in neither Ft Worth nor Keller, but FtW has been eyeing our development for 9 years now.
When that happens my house will be for sale.

I'm thinking of a career change into law enforcement. Just thinking about it though it would seem that to the officer you now are someone who has been a "good-boy" or "good-girl", taken classroom training and are certified to be in possession of a firearm. CHL holders should be a pleasure to them b/c they have a good idea that you are not up to shennanigans
Re: Stopped by Keller PD
Yes, I think that's what happens.
That CHL card means the obligatory license/warrants check is going to come up empty, and the CHL holder is no threat to his/her safety.

Re: Stopped by Keller PD
The only ticket I have ever gotten since getting a CHL was in a branch of Pasadena, TX where they were pulling so many people over they were flagging them in on foot.
All other experiences have been good and similar to the OP. A couple of actual written warning tickets, but a couple of verbal warnings as well. Once the guy asked me to get out so he could see where I was carrying (I had a T-shirt and shorts on), but he was nice about it and just gave me a verbal even though I deserved a ticket.
I don't think I have ever been pulled over when I didn't really deserve the ticket (meaning going more then 10 over the limit).
