Most CHL/LEO contacts are positive, how about yours? Bloopers are fun, but no names please, if it will cause a LEO problems!

I think the green arrow does not have anything to do with the right on red, ie you can turn right on red without the green arrow, the green arrow allows you to proceed without the stop that would be necessary to comply with right on red.

Now as to whether the green arrow signifies that both lanes may turn right...

There are three lanes, but only two lights. I presume the left light is for the left lane only, and the right light is for both right hand lanes.

It is not at all clear, and given the notes on the ticket, the judge should toss it. What should be doesn't always happen, though.

As the pic is posted, at that moment, if someone in the middle lane were to turn right, it would be a violation, as a red stop and go signal is displayed. The green arrow applys to the far right lane and means that they do not have to come to a complete stop.

That being said, if the right lane is right turn only, who cares if the middle lane turns right as well.

In my opinion a violation occurred, but good lord! I would have done it too. You should not have to sit there and disect the signage like a Shakespearian play.

I hope she gets off. I would rather use my time more wisely than stroking somebody for that one. Ex. Read my new issue of Guns and American Handgunner.

We hired David Sprecher and the court date has been reset for April, so we won't have to worry about it for awhile. I"ll let everyone know how it turned out.

She hired David Sprecher and it was thrown out. My wife mentioned that they have recently changed the signage (imagine that!).

That is correct. The question in court will be, based on the ticket, did she turn while the light was ALL RED, or did she turn with the green arrow? The ticket is for right on red, which is all that will matter in court.
