outed while boating in my yard

to set the scene: I have been rebuilding an inboard boat motor for my latest project. I finally got it all rebuilt and was attempting to install it back in the boat and I had to fight it for a couple of hours because I was having to do it by myself. I had my CCW on me and was wearing a tshirt that was big enough to cover it MOST of the time. Since I was in my yard, I wasnt too concearned with it being inadvertantly seen. I found myself covering it back up alot.
ok on to the LEO encounter, I live at the end of a street and while I was cleaning up at about 9pm my kids were in the driveway covering it in chalk graffiti err... I mean ART. About this time I noticed a couple of cars pull up to the stop sign in front of my house and they sat there longer than normal. this concearned me a little so I started to step out from behind my truck where i was puting my tools away and the car hit his bright lights. I thought what a jerk, thats when the car turned on his strobes. Then I started thinking that someone had seen my gun and called the cops. The officer pulled up next to the driveway and rolled down his window. I was thinking here we go, but he just said he was messing with the kids, so they waved to him and he waved back and went on his way.
Ok, so it wasn't really an encounter, but I thought it would give some people a chuckle or two.
